DIY: Film Cartridge Photo Holder

Spring and summer are just around the corner, and if you're like me, and you take your Instax camera almost everywhere you go, you're bound to take a spontaneous photo every now and then. But what do you do with your photo before you go home and add it to your album? Hopefully you don't damage it by throwing it in your bag or pocket!

Here's a quick and easy DIY using your old cartridge to protect your photos while you're out and about.

Sausage, Peppers, and Onions Over Rice

I went to the grocery store the other day (after a two week grocery shopping hiatus....... I've been busy!), and for some weird reason, was in the mood for Italian sausage. I picked up a pack of regular Italian sausage, but it was frozen, and for some reason that wasn't really appealing.

I turned around and luckily noticed a pack of mild Italian chicken sausage that looked really good!

There are so many things you can do with sausage, but I finally decided on sausage, peppers, and onions. I wanted to make stuffed peppers, but we'll save that for another day.

This was really good and so, SO, SO easy to throw together.

Baked Buffalo Cauliflower Bites

Happy New Year, everyone! I hope you all had an amazing holiday and a great time ringing in the new year!

Since it's that time of the year, when everyone decides to start working off those Christmas cookies and eat healthier, I thought I'd share a healthier side dish alternative. I'm 10 days into the Revolution: 31 Days of Yoga, so with that, I also want to try to add some more vegetables back into my diet. I love vegetables and already eat them tons, but I'm trying to swap out some other foods with a better option.

And you know, the Super Bowl is coming up, and these would be perfect at the party - and no one would make fun of them because they're just so good.

I've seen this recipe many, many times on Pinterest, so I had to try it out. I love Buffalo chicken, I love cauliflower. What could go wrong? And because they're baked (AND they're a vegetable), they're not AS bad as chicken that was swimming in oil. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, and Happy New Year, everyone!
I hope you all had a great Christmas, and have a great time with your friends and family and enjoy relaxing, shopping, dancing, eating - whatever you love to do, over the rest of the holidays!

I'm so thankful for being able to have this blog to express my thoughts and ideas (and Pinterest fails), and I'm so glad I can share this with you! So thank you for being here today (insert Princess Diaries wave)!

I can't wait to see what 2017 has in store, and I think (at least hope) that it'll be better than 2016.

So I hope you continue to join me in this journey of eating and crafting!

Happy Holidays!

Greek Orzo Salad

Sometimes I get tired of the same old sandwich for lunch, so when I make dinner, I make a little extra to make lunch for the week. I wanted something filling, but also not too heavy, so I made a quick and simple pasta salad.

DIY Mason Jar Lid Wreath Ornament

When I made these galaxy mason jar candle holders, I was left with lids that I wasn't going to use. There were a lot of ideas online that looked fun, but I wanted to something really quick and easy (big surprise, there...).

I found some leftover twine that I was going to wrap around the ring lid, but when I saw green, sparkly, garland-esque ribbon at Target, I instantly wanted to make a mini wreath with it!

One Artsy Mama Ornament Exchange!

Happy December!! Can you believe it's December already?? Officially Christmas time! And time for gift exchanges!

I love the idea of blogger gift swaps and ornament exchanges, but for some reason have never taken part in one.  Well that changed this year!

One Artsy Mama hosted a fun ornament exchange, and I decided to sign up! It was super easy and fun to do. My friend, Jenny, from Dear Paradise, signed up too! Fun!

My exchange buddy, Kirstin, gave me tons of great theme ideas for her ornament, and I felt so bad because I didn't give any extra details of my style, but she totally nailed it!

I received this adorable little ornament from Hallmark and super cute card!
