Relight App Review

I feel like using the term, "Technology Tuesday," is kind of cliche, but I'm not even going to lie, I really don't mind. I actually really like alliteration.

Anyway, I wanted to show you guys a pretty cool app I've been playing around with, called Relight. I actually got it free from the Starbucks app's Pick of the Week, but it's available in the iTunes store for $1.99 (sorry, Android users - I'm not familiar with the details for your 'droids).

There are a bunch of different modes you can choose from to enhance your photos, like "Enhance," "Low Light," "Clarity," "Dramatic," and more.  There are also the basic photo enhancing features, like clarity, saturation, shadows and highlights, etc. - like what you'd see on Instagram.

Another cool feature is the "Color" option, that has different color wheels, with different shades you can choose over your photos.

I took the following photos with my iPhone 5s, and while quality isn't ideal, I'm really pleased with the look after using the Relight app.

I really love how my photos turned out and how I was able to make them more vibrant and detailed, but I also like having the options to make them softer if I wanted. There are so many options and I'm looking forward to playing around with this more!

  1. I like "Technology Tuesday"! This app seems so cool, I'll definitely have to check it out! Price even seems reasonable.
