DIY: Film Cartridge Photo Holder

Spring and summer are just around the corner, and if you're like me, and you take your Instax camera almost everywhere you go, you're bound to take a spontaneous photo every now and then. But what do you do with your photo before you go home and add it to your album? Hopefully you don't damage it by throwing it in your bag or pocket!

Here's a quick and easy DIY using your old cartridge to protect your photos while you're out and about.

What you need:
- An empty Instax film cartridge (regular or wide)

 What to do:
1. Remove the protective sheet inside.

 2. Remove the shiny protective strip at the top of the cartridge. Use a spoon or non sharp item to help you get it off a little easier.

 3. Ta-da! Now slip your photos in the slot at the top and they won't get bent and damaged.

You can get about 10-15 photos in the empty cartridge, but I honestly wouldn't use this as a permanent holder. I don't necessarily like handling the photos by touching them, but this is a great way to protect them while you're on the go, or if you forget to bring a holder for them.

Now go forth and photograph!!

Until next time!
